The M.A.C.E. Degree is a 64-credit-hour graduate degree designed to prepare men and women to serve in a variety of church ministries.  The practical nature of this degree provides a ministry foundation for vocational or volunteer ministry in the church, denomination or mission field.


This degree is designed with  flexibility so that an individual student can concentrate his or her focus in particular areas of study and is further strengthened by the theological core integral to the degree.


Objectives for the

Master of Arts in Christian Education Degree


Students who graduate with an M.A.C.E. will have:

  1. 1.Gained a solid foundation of biblical studies

  2. 2.Become familiar with historical and theological Christian studies

  3. 3.Gained a better understanding of oneself and what it takes to counsel others

  4. 4.Learned how to minister to the varying age groups within the church

  5. 5.Advanced in understanding the inner workings of a church, especially teaching and administration

  6. 6.Participated in field ministry where knowledge becomes experience

  7. 7.Grown in Christ-likeness through the mutual support of other Christians


Requirements


1. The prerequisite for this degree is a B.A. degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university.

2. A total of 64 credit hours is required for the completion of the degree.
